Note: This may not be your final marks. Due to some of the subjective and semi-objective questions (short essay and fill in the blank).
My experience in taking the on-line test have taught me a new way to attempt in testing my knowledge about the the ict subject. Since the test was in Bahasa Malaysia, i had difficulties to understand the questions due to the words that are not common to me in ict language. I would prefer if i could just answer it in English. Not forgetting, i also had dilemma in aprroaching this online test. I need to answer for the second time because i accidently deleted my answer when i wanted to check my answers. I would have gone crazy if this have taken place for my final exam....Finaly, i was shocked when i scored 37/30.Isn't that scary?...it was ridiculous because there was only 30 questions but how on eath I scored 37 marks...overall it is a new experience for me to sit for a test online and I learntthat there are several advantages and also disadvantages on this on-line test.
FEEDBACK: Fast feedback showing the scores from the test but I was not told about my mistakes. So I do not have the chance to learn from my mistakes.RANDOMIZATION: Each set of questions are different. The questions were from different levels(mixed of difficult, average and easy questions)SECURITY: The test takers are given the freedom to only communicate to the screen and answer the questions. Cheating ptoblems may occur.
RATINGS:8/10
This course had taught me to utilise the use of computers as i learn new information in a relax way.The lecturers were friendly as they were very informative....There no problems with this course, but the computers should be upgraded so that the lecturers and the students would not need to face any problems during the tutorial classes

ONLINE LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY ASSESSMENT
This research share the experience at the School of Language Studies and Linguistics of UKM, which was commissioned to develop the English language training module for in-service lecturers at UKM. The development of the online English language proficiency test for academicians, an instrument used as a placement for the language training modules, are highlighted. As university lecturers are very busy and scheduled exams are not attractive for adult, an online test can be accessed anywhere in the campus.
LearningCare is a web based fully integrated e-learning solution, which provides UKM community a tool to develop , implement and share effectively the use of web based technology for intra- and inter- organization learning process.
Since many of the test takers in the trial session actualy used two or more attempts to familiarize with the test system and technicalities, it is highly recommended that the UKM community be given exposure and training in taking the online test and what we have developed could be offered as an exposure and training in taking the online test and what we have developed could be offered as an excellent trial version for all prior to the actual test administration...

E-LEARNING FOR LANGUAGE STUDIES

I still remember the day. That was my first time i'm entering TSL's cyber cafe.Me and my friends were told to find some journals on three topics that were given by my lecturer during lecture. So,there were my friends queueing up for registration.Imagine being in such a air-conditioned room, my body started to shaking and…as usual, my hands started to turn blue…
For the sake of god…I wanted to finalized my work on that day…and suddenly, the worker said that its time out and and they wanted to close the cyber cafĂ©…
Finally, I got my journals on the next day when I go back to TSL with my friend… As a student in UKM,I was mesmerised with the technology TSL provided to us.It really helped me finding the journals for my blog...........
From the three topics given by my lecturer, i have choosed the one that i think it is really really related to my course, E-LEARNING FOR LANGUAGE STUDIES (well...im doing English Language Studies).
I got my 1st journal from the EuroNews. From this source, users can access the weekly lessons in three languages, Spanish, English and French. This EuroNews is able to take part and and give something back to viewers online by helping them improve their language skills whilst also keeping them informed on current affairs across Europe and the World.
Then, i got my next journal from ScienceDirect. This research proposal a personalized curriculum generation approach based on the proposed GA-based module for personalized learnibg path generation and CBR-based module for personalized knowledge database and summative assessment analysis.
My third journal are from ProQuest. In this journal, there are the answers for the three important questions related to the topic that i choosed... As a summary for my third journal, the points in this journal are..the relationship between power distance and the usability of an E-Learning System, the relationship between individualisme/collectivism and the usability of an E-Learning System and about the relationship between masculinity/femininity and the usability of an E-Learning System.
